Jessica Hopper is an attorney with Halcomb Singler LLP in Carmel, IN. Ms. Hopper is also the Carmel, IN Community Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and works closely with the Carmel Police Department. Ms. Hopper represents clients involved in all areas of family law including divorce, legal separation, paternity, modification and enforcement. Ms. Hopper is trained in collaborative divorce. Ms. Hopper represents clients primarily in central Indiana locations of Hamilton, Marion, Boone, Tipton, Hendricks, Madison, and Hancock Counties. Ms. Hopper enjoys building long lasting relationships with clients and strives to guide clients through difficult transitions in life brought about by their domestic relations cases.
Ms. Hopper’s first love was the sport of soccer where was at one time the women’s all-time scoring leader in her childhood home state of Michigan and later excelled as a Division II athlete at Mercyhurst University. Following college, Ms. Hopper attended the Western Michigan Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, receiving “book awards” for top overall performance in advanced legal writing, family law, and secured transactions. Following law school, Ms. Hopper started her legal career in Hamilton County, IN in 2007 and for nearly a decade, Jessica has used the same drive for excellence and results in the courtroom that she did on the soccer field. In 2012 and 2013 Jessica was named rising star in the Indianapolis Super Lawyers Magazine. Jessica is admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Court, Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana, the Indiana State Courts. In 2014, Jessica became a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court, holding the honor of being personally sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts. Jessica is a member of the Hamilton County Bar Association.
Jessica is the proud mother of three young children, and resides in Noblesville, Indiana with her husband, Jason. In her spare time Jessica leads an active lifestyle, focusing on personal fitness, playing with her children and spending time with family and friends.
